At this year’s Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, NE, Farm Progress Show in Decatur, IL, and at Ohio Farm Science Review in London, OH, farmers registered for a chance to win $1,000 to be donated to their local FFA or 4-H Club of choice.

Gail Neumeister of Peru, NE was LG Seeds’ grand prize winner at Husker Harvest Days.  Neumeister elected to donate the $1,000 to the Johnson County Central FFA.

Jared Maxheimer of Mt. Pulaski, IL was LG Seeds’ grand prize winner at the Farm Progress Show.  Maxheimer elected to donate the $1,000 to the Mt. Pulaski FFA.

Jan Strauser of Laura, OH was LG Seeds’ grand prize winner at the Ohio Farm Science Review.  Strauser elected to donate the $1,000 to the Newton Blue Ribbon Livestock 4-H club, where his grandson, Jeffrey, is a member.

LG Seeds Brand Supply Manager and Illinois 4-H Foundation Board Member, Eric Yoder, is thrilled that LG Seeds gave back to the community, particularly to ag-related organizations.  Yoder says, “The FFA and 4-H Club are strong groups that provide learning and leadership opportunities to students across the country.  They are also not your average youth organizations.  It is a great fit to give back to the FFA and 4-H because LG Seeds is also not your average seed company.  We truly value our farming community and are excited to give back to such a valuable ag-related cause.”

LG Seeds will also be attending the National Farm Machinery Show in February in which they will be running the same promotion for farmers to register for a chance to have LG Seeds donate on their behalf.
