Genuity® VT Double PRO® RIB Complete™ has received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), completing federal regulatory authorization in the United States. Commercialization is pending individual state authorizations and notifications.
Genuity® VT Double PRO® RIB Complete™:
• Is a blend of 95 percent Genuity VT Double PRO and 5 percent Roundup Ready® refuge (non-Bt) seed – a single bag system with the lowest percent refuge in the Corn Belt for above-ground insect protection.
• Does not require a separate refuge.
• Is the simplest, most convenient refuge implementation option available to farmers for above-ground protection pest protection.
• Provides dual mode of action above ground protection for European corn borer, southwestern corn borer, fall armyworm and corn earworm, and tolerance to Roundup® agricultural herbicides.
The LG Seeds lineup of Genuity VT Double PRO corn products includes eleven elite hybrids from 86 to 114 day maturity. The VT2PRO trait is in the best genetics we have to offer.
AgReliant Genetics implemented upgrades to 5 of 7 North American plants this year that included; precision scale and blending equipment and a quality management system to insure product integrity and purity. Every bag from LG Seeds will meet or exceed the quality standards necessary to make the refuge comply with EPA requirements and will allow customers to plant the entire field without the need for a separate refuge.
Bagging is anticipated to begin by December 1st and seed should be available for delivery in early January.
